Why Youphoria?

Youphoria Consulting is the culmination of our consultants’ experiences as 2SLGBTQ+ people who have felt, researched and lived through the complex and nuanced experience of accessing affirming spaces, places and people. As tensions rise and it becomes increasingly important to call-out identity politics, we strive to disrupt the rhetoric of challenge, tragedy and struggle. Although yes - 2SLGBTQ+ populations use resilience to overcome these things - there is also joy, happiness and brilliance that the community inherently has. By tapping into this, we are confident that your workplace, organization or business will not only be more affirming for 2SLGBTQ+ populations, but you will be able to do so with a sense of pride and joy.

What We Do

We support staff, leaders, managers, healthcare workers, service users, and workplaces in creating and upholding an environment where folks who are Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (2SLGBTQ+) and beyond can thrive, as they are meant to. We are pleased to offer education sessions, lunch and learn sessions, and interactive workshops, all with the goal of increasing awareness and providing actionable take-aways.

Identity-affirming actions can take many forms - we invite you to book a free consultation to discuss if our services are right for you.

Our services

  • Education

Sessions designed to dive into understanding 2SLGBTQ+ identities, experiences, common barriers and actionable steps towards allyship and advocacy. These sessions are longer and more in-depth than the Lunch and Learn sessions.
